After reading an article in a national magazine about Breast Intentions - National Chapter and their mission, Lou Ann Peck reached out to the founders to collaborate on starting an Illinois Chapter of the charity. Through Lou Ann's determination, hard work and her team of dedicated volunteers, Breast Intentions of Illinois is growing and helping women in need. Lou Ann believes that the ultimate expression of generosity is in giving of who you are to those in need.Born and raised in the Joliet area, Bev was approached by Lou Ann Peck after reading an article about Breast Intentions of New Jersey. The two have worked together with other not for profit organizations in the past, and have had a wonderful working chemistry. Bev, having multiple family members affected by Breast Cancer, immediately joined the team.

Having worked in the health care field as a marketing director for many years, Bev took on the role of patient intake coordinator. Bev has the privilege of working directly with the recipients of Breast Intentions funds, and is passionate to ensure that every person who has been affected by breast cancer gets the assistance that they need in order to heal.
Jeri joined Breast Intentions in 2012. A friend and co-worker of Lou Ann Peck, Jeri was inspired by both the Mission of Breast Intentions but also in the passion Lou Ann Peck brings to Breast Intentions. Jeri serves as Treasurer and co-chairs the annual Mardi Gras Madness and Boobie Bingo events. Jeri is not new to Charitable Organizations and has been active in the Community and has served on many Foundation Boards, most recently as Chairman of the Presence St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation.Born and raised in Joliet, IL Laurie joined Breast Intentions in 2013. Laurie serves as Secretary and co-chairs the annual Mardi Gras Madness and Boobie Bingo events.

Laurie is a breast cancer survivor and brings with her the drive to help patients struggling to meet their financial needs.

Laurie has two sons and 3 granddaughters.
